The Arthritis and Musculoskeletal Alliance (ARMA) is looking for an energetic, well-networked, highly motivated individual to drive the Alliance at a time of great opportunity. ARMA is a coalition of nearly forty organisations working together to raise the profile of musculoskeletal conditions with policy makers and key opinion leaders for the benefit of patients with musculoskeletal disorders; it includes patient groups, charities and organisations representing healthcare professionals. Where it is necessary for a single voice to articulate the integrated views of the whole musculoskeletal community, ARMA provides that voice. The Director will lead the implementation of the strategy and policies determined by its member organisations and agreed by its Board, in addition to managing the alliance and its finances.

The successful candidate will have strong experience of working in partnership and co-ordinating activities between organisations. They will also have solid experience of communicating complex policy issues, and high level knowledge and understanding of the NHS and health issues.

Interviews will be held in mid-April.
